This position is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for clients through compassionate and personalized assistance in both home and community settings. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and committed to providing exceptional care while adhering to all relevant regulations and standards. Due to client preferences and care needs, we are currently seeking a male staff member for this position. Duties Provide direct personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring individuals safely. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Observe and report any changes in clients’ physical or emotional conditions to appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality and privacy. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to develop and implement individualized care plans. Assist clients in accessing community resources and services as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Must be 18 years or older Must identify as male (due to client-specific support needs) Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred) Must be able to pass a background screening and drug test Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor Strong background in patient care, particularly in assisted living or home/community-based settings Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or memory care needs is highly desirable Ability to safely assist with lifting or transfers while maintaining client comfort and dignity Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality Excellent observation skills to identify changes in client condition Effective, compassionate communication that builds trust and rapport Knowledge of social work principles and a proactive, adaptive approach to client-centered care
