Apd worker caregiver Anikacares LLC Kissimmee, FL 34758 Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in assisted living and home community settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of residents while promoting their independence and dignity. This role requires a strong commitment to patient monitoring, observation, and adherence to resident rights. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for residents. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and lifting techniques when assisting residents. Support residents with dementia care by employing effective communication strategies and behavioral techniques. Maintain accurate records of patient observations and care provided. Promote resident rights by respecting their privacy, preferences, and choices in care. Collaborate with social workers and other healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans. Experience Previous experience in assisted living, home care, or a related field is preferred but not required. Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and vital signs is advantageous. Knowledge of resident rights and ethical caregiving practices is essential. Experience in social work or providing support for individuals with dementia is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families. Ability to lift patients safely as needed while maintaining proper body mechanics.
