Job Description
My client of many years at 88 is looking for a full-time live-in companion to travel with her this summer to NY and then come back to Palm Beach Gardens for the winter. She has had a mild stroke, and so we need someone who can help her with her shower in the morning, help her get dressed, prepare a specific breakfast, and drive her to her doctor’s and other appointments. Preparing a simple, healthy lunch and making dinner and/or dinner arrangements for them is necessary, while keeping up with her social schedule and occasional outings. This is not an easy position, but Mrs. has a very good sense of humor and nobody is fooling her. There is another full-time person to break up the day and shifts. The family prefers a CNA and someone with live-in experience with a stroke patient, or experience with early Alzheimer’s and Diabetes. The successful candidate must have impeccable references and be able to travel freely.
