This role is crucial in assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a CNA/Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals requiring assistance due to health challenges.
Possible Duties Include:
Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing to maintain hygiene and comfort. Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Observe patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to healthcare professionals. Support patients with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Engage patients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals to meet the specific needs of each patient. Experience Previous experience in home health, senior care, hospice care, or assisted living is preferred but not required. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and vital sign monitoring is a plus. Ability to work independently while following established care protocols. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a valid CNA/HHA license through the state of Florida. Must have a valid CPR certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Must be able to complete and pass a Level 2 Background Screening. Ability to carry out directions, read and write. Maturity, reliability, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
