The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients, particularly those with special needs such as dementia in memory care. This position requires a commitment to maintaining clean and safe environments, caregiving, and supporting the overall well-being of our clients. Responsibilities Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols. Support patients with dementia and memory care through engaging activities and companionship. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition. Perform heavy lifting as required to assist patients with mobility challenges. Engage with families and caregivers to provide updates on patient status and involve them in care decisions. Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Skills Strong understanding of home care practices and principles. Experience or training in dementia care, memory care Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Compassionate attitude towards assisting individuals with diverse needs. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
