The ideal candidate has experience with caring for the elderly, including dementia patients, and First Aid/CPR certifications. This position requires flexibility, being comfortable with handling residents’ diverse needs and managing potentially difficult situations. A Caregiver must be capable of working as part of a team and able to demonstrate timeliness, trustworthiness and honesty. We are looking for someone who is capable of meeting the needs of all four residents in our program in an efficient manner and has a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
Responding to resident needs such as ADL’s, ambulation, transferring, providing snacks and drinks, assistance with televisions, etc. Cooking Cleaning Laundry Retrieving and handing medications to residents. Monitoring up to 6 residents simultaneously Ability to remain calm and composed in most situations.
