As an Assisted Living Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting them with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their independence. This position requires a nurturing attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Provide support with meal preparation and ensure that residents receive proper nutrition. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by performing light housekeeping duties. Assist residents with medication reminders and personal care needs. Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being. Support individuals with dementia care by using appropriate techniques to ensure safety and comfort. Drive residents to appointments or community outings as needed. Lift and transfer residents safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques. Experience Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home community care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. A valid driver’s license is preferred for those assisting with transportation needs. A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a retirement home setting.
