GROUP HOME EXPIRENCE REQUIRED
•We need staff in our IB Group Homes, Behavior Focused Group Homes, and for Transportation. We are seeking a Direct Care Staff member to join our team at AAAS, where we provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Direct Care Staff member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our clients. You will be responsible for delivering personalized care in our group homes. Your experience in these environments will help you create a positive and nurturing atmosphere where individuals can thrive. Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily activities, including community outings. Provide personal care, including hygiene assistance and dressing. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Administer medications according to prescribed guidelines. Document daily progress and report any changes in clients’ conditions. Ensure the health and safety of clients by addressing their needs and promoting a supportive environment. Work collaboratively with the team to create a nurturing, inclusive community. Uphold the values of equality, individual dignity, choice, and respect in all interactions.
Qualifications:
PREVIOUS GROUP HOME EXPIRENCE
Must be 18 years or older. Ability to work effectively in a group home setting. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel. Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to pass Level 1 and 2 Background Screening.
