- $19 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification Driver’s License Entry level Full Job Description We are seeking direct care staff to supervise, transport, and provide support to at risk teen girls who reside in an residential group home.
This position is for weekdays. Must be outgoing, energetic and willing to participate in out of home activities such as community events, volunteering, malls, movies etc. Shift options range between 10pm-12pm ex. 10pm-8am, 12am-12pm, 8am-12pm, etc Ideal candidates must:
- be at least 21 years old and possess a valid drivers license
- be able to pass level 2 background screening and random drug screening
- have patience and be able to work with different personalities, ethnicities & behaviors of the children.
- be able to work with a variety of professionals (case managers/therapists/etc.)
- be able to handle stressful situations
- prepare meals & ensure the home stays in order
- Maintain cpr/first aid certification
- once hired, must complete 21 hours of preservice training & then maintain 40 hours of training each year.
This includes but not limited to psychotropic medication and human trafficking training.
