This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for these individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the assistance they need while promoting their independence and dignity. Our caregivers play a crucial role in delivering personalized care tailored to each client’s unique needs. Duties As an In Home Caregiver, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: Assisting clients with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. (Mostly just prompting these individuals to do these task) Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s well-being. Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring adherence to medication schedules. Implementing behavior management techniques for clients with behavioral disabilities. Upholding resident rights by respecting privacy and promoting autonomy in decision-making. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed. Experience Ideal candidates will have experience or knowledge in the following areas: Home care settings, demonstrating a commitment to providing high-quality support. Behavior management strategies for individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and resident rights advocacy. A compassionate approach to assisting individuals in maintaining their dignity and independence.
