Full Job Description Duties:
- helping with ADLs in the morning
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected at all times
- needs help prepping meals and house chores and a lot of redirecting.
- needs help preventing from falling, uses a wheelchair to get around.
- needs help transferring in and out of vehicle , bed , bathroom etc.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment and alone
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
- Understanding of resident rights and ability to advocate for their needs
- Ability to follow systems and protocols for caregiving tasks
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Transporting client to doctors appointment’s or grocery store if needed.
Summary As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide essential support and companionship to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Reporting to the Care Manager, your core responsibility will be caregiving, with premium skills in first aid, patient observation, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). You will also engage in communication with residents, uphold their rights, and maintain a clean living environment.
