In Home Caregiver Anikacares LLC Poinciana, FL 34758 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, particularly for those with varying needs such as dementia, autism, or other long-term care requirements. Responsibilities Assist clients with meal preparation and dietary needs, ensuring nutritional requirements are met. Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Observe and report any changes in clients’ conditions or behaviors to family members or healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Assist with medication reminders and management as directed by healthcare providers. Foster a supportive relationship with clients, encouraging independence while providing necessary assistance. Qualifications Experience in senior care, assisted living, or group home settings is preferred. Knowledge of dementia care and memory care practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Excellent observational skills to monitor client health and well-being effectively. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or transferring clients when necessary. Certification in CPR/First Aid or relevant caregiving training is beneficial but not mandatory.
