CAREGIVERS NEEDED

10-hr day shifts, weekdays, Punta Gorda area Close To Home Caregivers – Sarasota, FL 240 North Washington Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34236 We are a caregiving agency run by caregivers. We know the challenges (and gratification) of caring for people who can’t care for themselves. We are currently looking to fill a prospective job in Punta Gorda that involves 10-hour day shifts during weekdays. Currently the hours are set as 5:30am to 3:30pm. each day. The dementia client needs full care = ADLs. There is some lifting involved. The client can use a walker but needs supervision. Applicants must be able to travel daily to Punta Gorda, and must have 1) a car, 2) a valid Florida drivers license, 3) proof of car registration and insurance. You must also have (or be willing to obtain) a Level II background clearance through the Agency for Health Care Administration. Also, we cannot hire anyone with a felony in their background.

Starting wage:

$20/hour Because we are caregivers ourselves, we make every effort to assign people to clients so that there is a good fit for both. And we try to find shifts that work in the lives of our caregivers. Because if our caregivers are happy, our clients are going to be happy (and well served). And our caregivers are going to stay with us. This agency is independently owned and operated.
