Live-in Full Time Caregiver Split Time Family Legacy Care, Inc. & Age In Place Care Solutions Venice, FL 34292 We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-in Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to an individual in need. This particular job would require 3-4 days a week full time live-in. The caregiver will reside in the home and assist with daily activities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment. The caregiver must have prior experience using Hoyer lifts.
Key Responsibilities :
Personal Care :
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other hygiene-related tasks.
Medication Management :
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for potential side effects.
Meal Preparation :
Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
Housekeeping :
Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and maintaining an organized living space.
Companionship :
Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and participate in recreational activities.
Mobility Assistance :
Help with walking, transferring, and positioning, using mobility aids when necessary.
Transportation :
Accompany to medical appointments, errands, or social outings as needed.
Emergency Response :
Act quickly and appropriately in case of medical emergencies or unexpected situations.
Qualifications :
Previous caregiving experience (preferred but not always required). Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (e.g., lifting, transferring). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. First Aid/CPR certification (preferred). Valid driver’s license (if transportation is required). Background check and references.
Work Schedule :
This is a live-in position, requiring overnight stays at the residence. Days off and work hours will be determined based on the household’s needs and agreement.
