As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. Duties Provide direct support to clients in their daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Assist residents with mobility and physical activities while ensuring their comfort and safety. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, focusing on enhancing well-being and promoting independence. Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to stimulate cognitive function and emotional well-being. Administer first aid as needed and respond appropriately to emergencies or changes in client conditions. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing routine cleaning tasks. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents. Skills Experience in direct support roles within group homes or assisted living settings is preferred. Knowledge of memory care techniques and the ability to implement effective care plans. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals that cater to dietary restrictions. Proficiency in maintaining cleanliness and organization within living spaces.
