The individual is a 39 years old man in need of a companion to support him with community outings and socialization. He enjoys participating in Special Olympics events such as bowling and basketball. This is an independent contract position and pays $15.25 per hour

Schedule:

Saturday and Sunday between 11:00am-4:00pm You will be a good fit for this position if you: Have a positive outlook and contagious energy Demonstrate patience and compassion Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role: Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment Performing light housekeeping tasks Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization Complete daily progress notes Qualifications and Skills Valid driver’s license Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
