We are a small family agency looking to expand our workforce, and we hope to have you come on board with us. We are looking for a Caregiver / Companion to assist in providing services such as, non-medical in-home Care Services and/or Community outings. PCCS is focused on providing the best quality care to those individuals with special needs.
Responsibilities :
Caregivers will provide, Respite Care, Life Skill 1 (companionship), or Personal Support, depending on the needs of each consumer. Caregivers assist consumers with; Personal Care, bathing (upon request) light cleaning, transportation in the community, appointments, and running errands. As a Companion/Caregiver you will be responsible for promoting the health and well-being of the individual and instructing in Life Skills.
Other responsibilities:
Talking and listening to the consumer, participate in the daily activities, document daily activities, and follow current community health and safety guidelines. To register you must provide proof that you meet the following requirements: Proof of Legal US Status / Valid Social Security number Current Level 2 Background Screening / and Local Background Screening Must have own/ reliable transportation Valid Driver’s License Current Auto Insurance / Auto Registration Current CPR / First Aid Certification (American Heart Association- Red Cross ONLY) Experience 1 year (preferred) with reference upon request
