Bed Residential Assisted Living Facility Description:
We are looking for a warm, compassionate, and experienced live-in caregiver with CNA or HHA credentials to join our close-knit team at a 5-bed residential assisted living facility in Port Saint Lucie. The ideal candidate is passionate about senior care and committed to delivering exceptional, person-centered support in a home-style setting. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Provide assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility Administer medication and monitor resident health according to care plans Prepare and serve meals, taking dietary needs into consideration Offer companionship and emotional support to residents Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Be flexible and responsive to the needs of both residents and the facility
Job Responsibilities:
Provide assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting etc.) Monitor and assist with medication reminders Support with mobility and transfers Prepare and serve nutritious meals Offer emotional support and companionship Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in caregiving, CNA or HHA certification preferred Kind, patient, and reliable with a genuine desire to help seniors Ability to live on-site and work flexible shifts Strong communication and observation skills Must pass a level 2 background check and provide references
