Position Summary:
We are seeking dependable, compassionate Caregivers to join our team. Caregivers will provide daily care, personal support, and supervision to residents while promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility. Administer medications as scheduled (training will be provided; prior certification not required). Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition. Support residents with life skills development, social activities, and community outings. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including daily care logs and medication records. Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe home environment. Foster a respectful and supportive atmosphere for all residents. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow all safety procedures. Support individualized care plans and encourage residents’ independence and choice.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must pass Level II background screening. Must be dependable, patient, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs as needed. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
