Personal Care Aide (PCA) NuLife Senior Care LLC Ringgold, GA 30736 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide essential support and care to individuals in various settings, including group homes, nursing homes, and memory care facilities. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for those with long-term care needs, including individuals with dementia. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Help with mobility and transferring clients safely; ability to lift clients as needed. Monitor and record vital signs as required by healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary. Engage clients in activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals to meet individual client needs. Communicate effectively with family members, healthcare providers, and team members regarding client progress. Requirements Previous experience in a group home, nursing home, or memory care setting is preferred. Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus. Ability to perform basic health monitoring tasks such as taking vital signs. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving. Physical capability to lift clients and perform necessary mobility assistance tasks. Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in personal care or nursing assistance are advantageous. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
