The ideal candidate for this position has experience providing care to patients with various backgrounds and levels of health, and is passionate about supporting seniors in their home. A successful In-Home Caregiver will be responsible for assisting the senior in everyday tasks and monitoring behavior to ensure the senior is healthy, safe and comfortable.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with basic daily tasks (such as eating and bathing). Be nonjudgmental and sensitive to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients. Help patients function independently by providing assistance with tasks that they cannot do on their own. Mainly non-medical, but assistance with medication reminders and appt setting. Help patients put on their clothes, do laundry, or cook healthy meals. Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license (full coverage vehicle insurance for those that are willing to transport clients).

Qualifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) -strongly encouraged or certify during hiring process Caregiver certification (optional) CNA certified (optional-starting pay $13/hour)
