This position involves providing compassionate care and support to clients in various settings, including nursing homes and private residences. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for those you care for. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the well-being of clients. Provide patient observation to identify changes in health or behavior and report any concerns to healthcare professionals. Support individuals with specific needs such as dementia care or working with people on the autism spectrum. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Foster a positive and supportive relationship with clients to promote emotional well-being. Skills Some cooking skills for meal preparation that meets dietary needs. Experience in assisting individuals with various health conditions, including dementia care and hospice care. Ability to monitor vital signs accurately and recognize changes in patient conditions.
