Direct Care Staff Innovative Living for Life. 5020 Hickory Drive, Winterville, GA 30683 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in a young person’s life. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional care and support while fostering independence and dignity for those we serve. We service young men in the foster care system. Our youths are a male only facility ages 15-19. There youth’s we serve are high risk young men that has encountered some unforunate challenges. We are looking for staff that wants to make a difference in a young man’s life. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety. Provide supervison and watchful oversight Support clients in weekend meal preparation and life skills Facilitate social interactions and community engagement to promote inclusion. Help clients make postive and productive decisions. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document client progress and any changes in behavior or health status. Offer emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients life as a tool of guidance. Experience Previous experience in but not required, caregiving of teenage youths, special education youths, and mentoring young men. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members. A genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives.
