As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you assist, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Duties Monitor patients’ health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment. Assist individuals with disabilities in performing tasks and engaging in social activities. Perform heavy lifting as necessary to assist patients with mobility challenges. Administer first aid as needed and respond appropriately to emergencies. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Experience Previous experience in caregiving, nursing homes, or hospice care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and care plans is advantageous. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Basic knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
