• We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers for the spring/summer months.

As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to at-risk youth in a home care setting. • Duties:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of teenagers under care by maintaining constant supervision during scheduled activities, outings, and free time.
• Monitor and organize activities to promote socialization and skills building.
• Implement behavior management techniques to support individuals with challenging behaviors.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals under your care.
• Assist teenagers provide academic guidance and encouragement to help them achieve their educational goals.
• Drive individuals to appointments or outings as required.

• Requirements:

• Experience working with youth with challenging behaviors with is preferred.
• Proficient in patient care techniques, including monitoring, prompting, redirecting, and behavior management.
• Flexible, patient, structured demeanor when providing care.
• Knowledge of caregiving principles and practices.
• Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
