Live-in Caregiver Bright Alternative 2955 Medina Drive, Jonesboro, GA 30236 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance within their homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with disabilities or requiring long-term care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, respect for resident rights, and the ability to create a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times. Help clients with mobility needs by lifting and transferring them safely as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the home environment to promote health and safety. Monitor clients’ health and report any changes in condition to appropriate healthcare professionals. Engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional well-being and encourage independence. Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy and confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans. Requirements Previous experience in home health care, long-term care, or working in a group home setting is preferred. Knowledge of patient care techniques and an understanding of resident rights is essential. Ability to lift clients safely and assist with mobility challenges. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
