Caregiver
- for a bedbound patient in private residence Home Care of Dekalb Newnan, GA 30265 Overview 40 hours a week, 8 am
- 4 pm (possibly 9am
- 5pm). Monday
- Friday We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care.
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and companionship. This position requires a commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of those you serve while ensuring their safety and well-being. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide medication reminder. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed. Monitor and document changes in client health status, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare personnel. Uphold resident rights by ensuring privacy, dignity, and autonomy in all interactions. Provide specialized care for individuals with memory care needs or hospice care requirements. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Experience Previous experience in caregiving
- working with bed bound patients.
Certification in CPR is a plus to ensure client safety during emergencies. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
