The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, including those with specific needs such as dementia care and home health support. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Develop and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Monitor and document vital signs as required, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences while ensuring food safety standards are met. Uphold resident rights by treating all clients with dignity and respect. Assist clients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare providers or care plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties as necessary. Collaborate with nurses and social workers to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus. Ability to assist with personal care tasks while respecting client privacy and dignity. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring is beneficial; training may be provided for those without prior experience. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential.
