The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed. Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition to family members or healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Support clients in following care plans tailored to their individual needs. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as required. Experience Previous experience in home health care, senior care, or assisted living is preferred. Knowledge of CPR and first aid is a plus. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and home community care practices. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is desirable. Ability to follow care plans effectively while maintaining a clean and organized environment. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
