In Home Caregiver Care Direct Home Care Service Ellenwood, GA 30294 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aid to provide companion services to one individual in their home. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly seniors and those with specific health challenges. Our caregivers play a crucial role in delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence while fostering a warm and supportive environment. We currently need someone who is available Monday – Friday Noon to 4pm, Wednesday 10a-2pm. Duties Offer companionship and emotional support, helping to maintain social interactions. Check BP each morning. Provide care for an individual with dementia. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and prepare one meal daily. Drive the client to the Senior Center on Wednesday to engage in social activities. Requirements Previous experience in senior care, long-term care, or nursing home settings is preferred. Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Experience in providing dementia care. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others. Ability to perform light cleaning duties as part of maintaining a safe environment. Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients are beneficial. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
