The Retreat at Cascade is hiring Resident CareAssociates to join their team!

Shift Details:

3:00-11:00PM.11:00PM-7AMMon-Fri; Every other weekend requiredThe Resident CareAssociate reports directly to the Family Experience Director, PearlDirector or the Assistant Family ExperienceDirector.

PURPOSEResident Care Associate – CNAThe Resident CareAssociate is responsible for providing the highest degree ofquality care and services to a consistent group of residents andtheir families in our assisted living andMemory care neighborhoods.

This role includes providing hands on care, physical and emotionalsupport as outlined in each resident’s Personalized Service Plan(PSP) while maintaining a safe, comfortable home like environment.

The Resident Care Associate is responsible for demonstrating allelements of wellness, remaining in accordance with federal, stateand local standards and regulations and Phoenix policies to promotethe highest degree of quality care and services to ourresidents.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIESRESIDENTCAREResident Care Associate – CNA Participates in the development of the Personalized ServicePlans and updates; attends service plan review meetings withfamilies as requested Follows the hydration schedule established for the residents ismaintained during the shift Completes resident meal attendance sheets have been completedand any resident who has not dined in the dining room has beenprovided room service and / or accounted for. Knows and complies with all resident rights Initiates, assigns, and assist with activities, asappropriate Check all assigned residents daily for cleanliness, appropriateclothing, any continence issues and change in condition Uses proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions Checks on assigned resident rooms daily for general cleanlinessand neatness and takes appropriate action; ensures high risk roomsare double checked Assist with conducting laundry rooms, common areas – includingbathrooms – checks for cleanliness and any exposed hazardouschemicals; and takes appropriate action (i.e. contactinghousekeeping, personally cleaning the room, securing thechemicals) Completes all ADLs for assigned residents according to theresident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP) Responds to security system and resident call bells promptly &immediately; takes appropriate action including resetting callbellsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATIONResident CareAssociate – CNA High School education preferred and may be required by thestate Previous experience working with elders or disabledindividuals, preferred Must be at least 18 years of age to perform the personal careaspects of the RCA position Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry andDementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours,available to our customers at peak service delivery days andtimes
