Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and assistance with daily activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in dementia care and a strong commitment to fostering a clean and safe environment for those in your care. Responsibilities Provide personal care services including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences. Assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity. Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Support individuals with disabilities by providing tailored assistance based on their unique needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Experience Previous experience in dementia care or working within a retirement home, personal care home, or group home setting is preferred. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and systems is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
