In Home Caregiver Modani Care Modoc, GA 30401 Modani Care is a family owned and operated In-Home Senior Care with 18 years of experience. We are passionate about providing personalized and quality home care to seniors all across Middle Georgia. We are available 24/7 and have the latest online systems for simple and easy access to your schedule, clocking in/out, and additional information. The ideal candidate will be patient & friendly with top tier communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients. It’s an often demanding job as you will have to be available and have a flexible schedule. But, it can also be very satisfying and rewarding, since people who are ill, injured, disabled or elderly are thankful for high-quality assistance. Responsibilities Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents Willing to travel regularly Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary Qualifications Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day Current CPR & First Aid Certification Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends and unexpected emergency shifts.
