PLUS MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT ANYTHING AFTER 10 MILES. DOUGLASVILLE LOCATION EXIT 37 WEST CLIENT NEEDS ASSISTANCE WITH CHEMO AND BACK, LOTS OF ERRANDS RAN BUT WITHIN 2-3 MILES OF LIVING LOCATION. MOSTLY TRANSPORTATION IS NEEDED AND SOME LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING AND LIGHT MEAL PREP. TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS DURING CHEMO WEEK AND TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS OR FRIDAYS DURING OFF CHEMO WEEK. SHIFT TIME VARIES. CHEMO TUESDAYS START AS EARLY AS 8 AM. ON OTHER DAYS, 11-3, WILL PROVIDE MORE DETAILS WHEN

A 3 HOUR BREAK AND YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU NEED TO DO WITHIN THOSE 3 HOURS. DEMENTIA CLIENT, MEDICATION REMINDER, MEAL PREP, LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING, TAKE FOR WALKS AND RIDES AROUND THE METRO ATLANTA. VERY SIMPLE CLIENT WITH ROUTINE DUTIES. FAMILY IS VERY STRICT ABOUT HAVING DIFFERENT CAREGIVERS SO BEFORE YOU APPLY, MAKE SURE YOU ARE SERIOUS AND DEDICATED. Job Summary:

Safely Kept Homecare Agency is currently seeking caregivers to join their team. Part-time and PRN options are available. We have a special PRN program for nursing students.

Qualifications:

Have experience as a caregiver Nursing students must currently be in or have completed fundamentals. Must pass criminal background check Must have reliable transportation Must interview with the client for compatibility Pay ranges from $15-25/hr, depending on experience and the level of care our clients need. We are a non-medical home care agency. We seek compassionate Caregivers to join our team and provide high-quality care to our residents. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and ensuring the overall well-being of our residents. Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature as needed.
• Observe and report any changes in the resident’s physical or mental health.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, including cooking and serving meals.
• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Provide social support and engage in activities with residents to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control practices and performing housekeeping duties as needed.

Skills:

• Experience in long-term care or working with people with disabilities.
• Knowledge of patient observation and vital signs.
• Ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Experience with home care or group home settings.
• Ability to work with individuals with a range of needs and abilities.
• Basic cooking skills and knowledge of nutrition and meal planning.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to residents.
