Home Caregiver LaMaison HomeCare Atlanta, GA 30326 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with disabilities or memory care needs. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, patience, and the ability to work independently while ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Provide memory care support for clients experiencing cognitive challenges. Perform patient monitoring to ensure health and safety, reporting any changes in condition to family members or healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Assist with heavy lifting as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used for client safety. Support individuals with disabilities by providing direct support in various activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment within the home, including light housekeeping tasks. Engage clients in social activities and companionship to foster emotional well-being. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including CPR training when necessary. Experience Previous experience in home care or group home settings is preferred. Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Knowledge of memory care techniques and patient monitoring practices is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively is required. Certification in CPR is a plus but can be obtained after hiring if not currently held.
