The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others, particularly those with disabilities, seniors, or individuals residing in assisted living or nursing home environments. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Administer first aid when necessary and ensure adherence to resident rights and privacy regulations (HIPAA). Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client. Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying them to appointments or social activities. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Experience Previous experience working with people with disabilities or in senior care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with first aid practices and knowledge of resident rights is essential. Experience in social work or related fields is a plus. A background in assisted living or nursing home environments is beneficial. Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients are appreciated.
