Duties As a Caregiver, your responsibilities will include: Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring client health conditions. Providing companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their overall well-being. Supporting individuals with disabilities or autism by implementing personalized care plans. Ensuring the safety and comfort of clients by maintaining a clean and organized living environment. Upholding resident rights while respecting the dignity and privacy of each individual. Engaging clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction. Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in client conditions to appropriate personnel. Experience Candidates should have experience or familiarity with: Home community care practices and principles. Social work methodologies that support client needs. Medication administration protocols for various health conditions. Dementia care techniques that promote safety and engagement for individuals with cognitive impairments. Working with individuals with disabilities or autism, demonstrating understanding and compassion for their unique challenges. Knowledge of assisted living environments and nursing home operations is a plus. Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs.
