Lilburn, GA 30047 Summary As a Caregiver, you will be essential in providing compassionate support and assistance to individuals in various settings, including group homes and assisted living facilities. Your core responsibility will be to ensure the well-being of patients through attentive care, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient observation. With premium skills in first aid, cleaning, and cooking, you will create a safe and nurturing environment. Your relevant experience in long-term care and social work will further enhance the quality of care provided, making a significant impact on the lives of those you serve.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

a) Assists client with personal hygiene, grooming and dressing. b) Assist client with elimination c) Assist client with transfers and ambulation d) Escort client to medical treatments and shopping e) Assist with food preparation, cutting up food and feeding. f) Observe for changes in the clients condition and report to the RN. g) Assist with housekeeping tasks as assigned. h) Assist with other activities of daily living. i) Assist with laundry chores. j) Assist client with self-administered medications (i.e read labels, remind to take medications, provide glass of water, assist with opening medication container) k) Identified client’s needs are communicated to the Agency’s Nurse Manager in a timely manner. l) Observations of client’s conditions are accurately reported to the Nurse Manager in a timely manner. m) Client environment is neat and orderly n) Infection control and safety policies and procedures are implemented. o) Obtain 8-hours of in-service training per calendar year.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

: 18 years of age or older, be able to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions and complete written reports of care given. Must be able to communicate with the client. Must be competent to perform the tasks assigned, evidence of sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick. At least 1 year of care giving experience required.
