CARING FOR A LOVED ONE

Home Care of Dekalb Gwinnett County, GA Are you caring for a loved one or know of someone who could benefit from this Georgia program? Make up to $560 a week. For questions or request for an immediate call email: info@georgiahomecareassist.com This program is meant to help people who are living with disabilities and/or are Senior over the age of 65 living with chronic conditions which limited their ability to do daily tasks around their home. This program is meant to help people stay in their home and avoid having to go into a nursing home or personal care home. They are able to hire a caregiver of their choice who will be trained and given guidance on caring for someone who is disabled and/or elderly living with chronic conditions. Requirements to be eligible for the program are: 1. Be an adult 21+ living with a disability or a Senior 65+ living with chronic conditions that limit your ability to care for yourself. 2. Live a their own residence or have stable housing. 3. Have or are willing to apply for Medicaid – ideal candidate will have Medicaid and SSI. 4. Have income that does not exceed $ 2700 a month. 5. Live in the state of Georgia. 6. Must be willing to go through the approval process which can take up to 4 months which includes verification of eligibility, a nurse visit and disclosure of pertinent information. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting well-being. Duties Provide patient care by assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking to ensure dietary needs are met. Offer direct support to individuals with mobility challenges, including lifting and transferring as needed. Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and maintain accurate records of medication administration. Engage in long-term care planning and provide emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Implement first aid measures when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care.
