Caregiver/Personal Assistant Olive Home Care Services Warner Robins, GA 31095 Job Summary Looking for someone who is experience and is comfortable with children (GAP) with total care cases. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals with varying needs, including those with developmental disabilities and dementia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in their daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and promoting independence. This role requires a blend of caregiving skills, patience, and the ability to develop meaningful relationships with clients. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the specific needs of each client. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Monitor patient observation and report any changes in behavior or health status to appropriate personnel. Assist with memory care activities designed to stimulate cognitive function. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care services effectively. Participate in training sessions related to CPR, hospice care, and other relevant topics to enhance caregiving skills. Skills Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is essential. Knowledge of dementia care practices and patient observation techniques is preferred. Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of care plans is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
