The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents, particularly those with autism, dementia, or other special needs. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all individuals under our care. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene. Provide compassionate support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Engage residents in social activities and promote their participation in group events. Monitor and document patient observations to ensure their well-being and safety. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans. Support residents with dementia through tailored memory care techniques. Maintain a clean and organized living environment within the facility. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members. Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques suitable for various dietary needs. Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus. Understanding of dementia care practices and memory support strategies. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
