As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a home community setting. Responsibilities Provide personal care services, including turning and moving patients, bathing patients, grooming patients by brushing their hair and teeth, shaving them, and feeding patients. Also, light housekeeping, meal preparation, check vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate, document daily activities, and answer patient calls. Assist clients with daily living activities and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs as needed to ensure client health and safety. Medication reminders. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Support clients with dementia care, utilizing effective communication strategies tailored to their needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following proper hygiene practices. Assist individuals with autism by providing tailored support that encourages independence and social interaction. May have to provide transportation to appointments, shopping, groceries, etc. Experience Previous experience in home community care or home health settings is preferred. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring. Experience in providing patient care, particularly for individuals with dementia or autism, is highly valued. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. A compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others are essential for success in this role.
