In-Home Caregiver The Prestige Care Home LLC Warrenton, GA 30828 Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting them with daily activities and personal care. This position requires a caring demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while following care plans. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations to promote emotional well-being. Assist with dementia care by providing cognitive support and engaging activities tailored to individual needs. Maintain cleanliness in the client’s living environment to ensure a safe and hygienic space. Help with catheter care and other personal hygiene tasks as needed. Document medical records accurately to keep track of client progress and changes in condition. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding any concerns or changes in the client’s health status. Qualifications Previous experience in long-term care or as a Home Health Aide is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for effective communication within the healthcare team. Certification in CPR is required to ensure client safety during emergencies. Ability to assist clients with mobility issues and perform light housekeeping tasks. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans accurately. Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards caregiving.
