Caregiver Peace For You In-Home Care, Inc. Dalton, GA 30720 Weekend position 8a-8p in Dalton $2/hour shift differential Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for those with developmental disabilities, autism, and other special needs. Caregivers will work in various settings, including group homes and assisted living facilities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our clients. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Provide meal preparation and nutritional support tailored to individual dietary needs. Support clients in engaging with their community through social activities and outings. Help with mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary to ensure client safety. Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, promoting a healthy environment. Document daily activities and report any changes in client behavior or health status to the supervising nurse or management. Foster positive relationships with clients by understanding their unique needs and preferences. Experience Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with home community care practices is a plus. Experience in group home or assisted living settings is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of the clients. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients and their families. A background in nursing or related fields can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
