Nanny/Caregiver Kings & Queens Of Sudds Youth Outreach 2924 Knight St, Shreveport, LA 71105 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, particularly with infants and toddlers, and possess a strong commitment to fostering a safe and educational atmosphere. This role involves not only supervising children but also engaging them in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Duties Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, accommodating dietary restrictions as needed. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and children’s rooms. Provide care for infants, including diaper changes, feeding, and soothing. Support toddler development through educational activities, games, and creative play. Assist with preschool readiness by introducing basic concepts such as numbers, letters, and shapes. Offer specialized care for children with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with patience and understanding. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s activities, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Requirements Previous experience in daycare or nannying preferred. Strong knowledge of infant care and toddler care practices. Ability to educate children through engaging activities while promoting their development. Experience in caregiving for children with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents. A nurturing demeanor with the ability to create a positive atmosphere for children. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the agreed-upon schedule.
