The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with developmental disabilities, seniors, or those requiring specialized care. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the quality of life for clients while ensuring their safety and comfort. Duties Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by fostering independence and personal growth. Offer patient care including monitoring health conditions and providing companionship. Engage in memory care activities to stimulate cognitive function and maintain mental health. Deliver direct support in daily living tasks such as mobility assistance and household chores. Administer first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies appropriately. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans. Provide hospice care support for clients in need of end-of-life assistance. Qualifications Experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of first aid practices is a plus. Ability to prepare nutritious meals and accommodate dietary restrictions. Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others. Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of clients, including evenings or weekends if required. Certification in direct support or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
