- Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and companionship. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure their well-being and comfort.
- Duties
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide patient monitoring and support in home care settings
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with household tasks and meal preparation
- Coordinate appointments and accompany clients to medical visits
- Skills
- Experience in patient care, preferably in nursing homes or home health settings
- Knowledge of home community care practices
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Proficient in CPR techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
