No experience necessary, on the job training is available. We offer part-time, full-time job positions with flexible scheduling. Personal Care Assistant ( PCA ) Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living including housekeeping, making beds, serving meals, personal laundry, showers, toileting – including incontinence care, dressing, undressing, grooming, shaving, personal hygiene, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation including escorting to the dining room and activities, and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan; Observe residents for safety, including providing room checks, and report any change of condition or other pertinent information to the supervisor, and document personal services rendered; Exhibit the proper and timely response to all residents and family concerns; assist residents in activities and actively promote resident activity participation; must be compassionate. Summary As a Direct Service Worker (DSW), you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering their independence and enhancing their quality of life. This role requires core caregiving skills, along with premium abilities in patient observation and assisting with daily living activities (ADLs). You will work in various settings, including group homes and community care environments, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere.
