Direct Care Counselor – All Shifts Position Available In Berkshire, Massachusetts

Be part of a team that creates a warm, welcoming place for parents andchildren in need. As a Shelter Counselor, you’ll play a key role inhelping families feel safe and supported as they work towards findingpermanent housing.

• All shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) Available!

• PositionResponsibilities:

• Help create a cozy, home-like environment whereeveryone feels cared for.
• Support families by assisting with everydaytasks, teaching life skills, and offering guidance.
• Write simple notesto track the progress of each family.
• Attend team meetings to shareideas and learn from others.
• Make sure the shelter’s rules arefollowed to keep everyone safe and on track. This role is more than ajob

• Qualifications:

• Bilingualcandidates encouraged to apply!
• Experience working with people livingon a low income, or who are affected by mental health issues and/oraddiction.
• Proficiency across the following skills: verbal and writtencommunication, collaboration, organization, and use of computer andtechnology.
