• Recuperative Care Center Lifebridge North Shore is seeking Direct Care professionals to work at our Recuperative Care Center in Lynn, MA.

The Direct Care team supports residents’ day-to-day health, behavioral, and social needs, in partnership with our case management and medical team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Dependable, reliable, can take initiative and problem-solve quickly.
• Can communicate calmly and effectively, in English. Proficiency in another language is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills: is compassionate, self-aware and self-reflective, works well in a team, knows to enforce boundaries where appropriate.
• Previous experience working with historically marginalized populations, including people experiencing homelessness, struggling with substance use, or managing behavioral health issues is preferred but not required.

Schedule:

weekdays 4pm-12am and 12am-8am

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with their daily needs: manage medications so clients can self-administer, set up/warm up provided meals, accompany residents during fresh air breaks, facilitate enrichment activities (games, crafts etc.),
• Complete daily operations tasks for a 20-bed medical respite facility, including: safety checks, laundry, light cleaning etc.
• Assist program director, case manager, and direct care staff as needed during daily shifts, including: answering residents’ questions, overseeing group activities, get rooms ready for admission/discharge etc.
• Partner with RCC’s medical team as needed, including: sharing relevant patient information, assisting with new intakes etc.
• Reports to: Program Director.

Compensation and benefits:

• $21/hour, up to 32h/week, overtime-eligible
• Paid time off: holidays, 2 weeks vacation, 1 week sick time
